Twisted Greetings

Tonight I finished some of the greeting cards that I started the other night.

Clockwise from top left the insides say:
1.) happy birthday,  i hope you get just what you wanted.
2.) how's life?  i hope it's all rainbows and unicorns.
3.) happy birthday.  i hope it's a magic ride.
4.) happy birthday.  i hope you get everything you dreamed of.

Stephen asked where I found the text.  It is from the twisted mind of Jeanne, of course.  (Yes, the twisted mind where I talk about myself in the third person.)

Carded

Today was not on my list of all time best days.  Not even close.  

To reflect my crazy, unsexy, uncool day, I started on some wonky greeting cards.  They say things like "how's life?  i hope it's all rainbows and unicorns." with a picture of rainbow and a unicorn and "how's life?  mine's been wild." with a picture of a giraffe, elephant, and zebra.

So how was your Thursday?  I hope it was all rainbows and unicorns.

Sick Day

When I was a little girl, there wasn't much we were allowed do when we stayed home sick from school.  My mom's rule was that if we were too sick to go to school, we were too sick to watch tv or play. 

I remember coloring on sick days, and today took me back to those quiet afternoons.  I went home from work early because of my persistent upper respiratory issues, and I didn't have much energy for crafting. Quiet coloring was about my limit.

I stamped these owl note cards and then colored them with colored pencils.
