Jump(suit) for Joy

Every now and again I fall in love with a garment that, to put it gently, doesn't appeal to Stephen.  The best example is my dress of many paisleys, and now this jumpsuit is added to that list.

Ah ebay, where you can bid on stuff you never needed knew you needed.  I've been wanting printed pants, and found this jumpsuit instead.  Thanks, everyone else, for not bidding on it.

 

Even though Stephen wasn't a fan of this print (he said it looks like a horse blanket), I did get many compliments from friends and coworkers.  Ultimately Stephen doesn't have to like all my clothes, as long as he loves me.

 

Socially Awkward

I'm used to taking my own photos every day.  I set up my tripod, grab my shutter remote, and click away.  Today I forgot my tripod, so I had to rely on the kindness of my friend Kristin to take my OOTD pics.  It was awkward.

It certainly isn't Kristin's fault that my photos turned out awkward.  I am just not used to having a human on the other side of the lens.  I need to either get over my awkwardness or remember to bring my tripod!

Power Purple

One of my coworkers likely felt like she was looking in the mirror today.  She brought this suit to my clothing swap, and I think she brought the necklace too.

I liked wearing this suit because it combines a bold color with a classic cut.  It was effortlessly comfortable and easy to wear.

 

My finger nails are a pretty grey/purple/tan color that reminds me of seals.

 

Lazy Day Weekend

I celebrated Labor Day weekend with laziness.  Most of the time laziness doesn't beget cute outfits, but this outfit was an exception.  These sandals make any outfit exceptional.

Shhhhhh.  The top is actually a swim suit cover up.  I haven't been in a swim suit all summer, and I like this too much to not wear it at all.
