Two of One Hundred: Make Jewelry

I haven't had much time to be creative over the past few years, and that has always been a big part of my identity. Making jewelry is another task on my list.Tonight I played with some resistor parts and jewelry pliers and made two pairs of earrings.

Summer Bronze

I've spent quite a  bit of time outside the past few weekends, and it shows.  I didn't realize quite how tan I'd become until I downloaded these photos.

The color palette makes my skin look even more bronze, not that I'll complain.

Easy Bee-zy

This outfit is great because it's easy to wear but still looks like I care.  I paired a sunflower print top with a sunflower print sundress and added bee-themed jewelry.

Boom Boom Pow

Hi!  Is anyone still out there?  It's been so long since I posted, I've almost forgotten how.  Let's give it a try. 

I wore this quite a while ago, but I loved it enough to dig through my photos to find these.  This outfit is supposed to be science-themed.  The national summer reading program theme is "Fizz Boom Science," but this outfit delivers more boom boom pow.

This was an outfit worth saving.  I felt fierce and, I'm sure, blinded more than a few with science.

Pick of the Litter

My hard drive is littered with outfit of the day photos that haven't been posted, and it's time to pick some.

The best accessory for any outfit is happiness and happiness is a warm puppy.  While I didn't take this one home, I'm sure she will find a family to love her.

Drab Drag

As everyone knows, RuPaul is a philosopher for our time.  This outfit, in 50 shades of blah, would likely run contrary to the gospel of Ru, but the necklace is straight from the sage's mouth.

I am 90 percent certain that this outfit looked better in real life than it does in these photos.

Finally Pairing and Wearing

I found this blouse while thrift shopping with the lovely Gracey of Fashion For Giants almost a year ago.  This is my first time wearing it.  Eek.  Finally this dress jumped out.  Perfect.  The wearing and the pairing are long overdue, but better late than never

Cha Cha

This was day two of festival wear.  I always feel ready to cha cha in this dress.  Unfortunately I don't know how to cha cha.

Key for festivals?  Comfortable shoes.  My friend Kristin and I walked and walked over these two days, but yesterday's Bare Traps and today's Clarks kept my toes comfy.
