Brick House

I laughed out loud when I saw what the color of these tights is called: Brick House.

They instantly put me in mind of the Commodores song, and that got me wondering.  What is a brick house?

According to the always reputable Urban Dictionary, it refers to a strong, sexy woman.

I'm doing my best to do these tights justice and find my inner brick house.

 

Sweater, thrifted; dress, Walmart; tights, Target; over-the-knee boots, Victoria's Secret; amber/larimar earrings, purchased in the Dominican Republic; amber pin/pendant, Ebay.

 

Before I saw the color of the tights I was going for an autumnal palette, and I think I hit the mark on that count.  OTK boots and a sweater add to the cozy factor, and amber jewelry reinforces the pumpkin orange dress and tights.
