Mmmmm Massage

I have had rough luck with massages.  I've had quite a few.  I've enjoyed them, but, over the past few years, massages have been triggers for migraines.  Migraines took the fun out of massages quickly.  Migraines take the fun out of anything quickly.

This is the lovely and talented Dorothy.
I'm so glad I gave massage one last chance with Dorothy Smith at Massage CSRA.  This is what massage should be.  My massage with Dorothy was the first I've had that truly felt therapeutic.  I won't say that she has a gift because that wouldn't give adequate credit for the time and effort she has taken to hone her craft.

I tend to fold in on myself when I'm stressed, and I've had stress in spades lately.  At the beginning of my appointment I felt crumpled up like a discarded scrap of paper.  (How's that for overly-dramatic metaphor?)

I composed this post (unsolicited) in my head while I was on the table, and unfortunately I've already forgotten what I was going to say.  I am too relaxed.  My neck (which was a gnarled mess of tension and pain) now feels longer.  My (formerly caveman-like hunched) shoulders feel lower.  I. Have. No. Migraine.  I can't wait to go back.

Dorothy has had a couple deals on Augusta Daily Deals (bonus!), but her services are worth it at any price.

*This is not a sponsored post.  I'm not a fancy enough blogger to have sponsored posts.  I just got the best massage ever so I wanted to share my experience.*
